After nearly 21 years in the Crime and Criminal Justice sector, from junior grades through to head of a department, I decided to take leap into business ownership!

This transition is both exciting and deeply personal. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible people across policing, probation, prisons, health, education, local government, central government, and the voluntary sector. 

They shaped my journey, and I’m profoundly grateful. They demonstrated what true dedication to outcomes looks like, whether mandated to serve or simply choosing to do so.

To this day I want to serve people in the best way I can.  I started my career as a administrator with no clue about what I wanted to achieve.  My first sniff at influence was as a crime analyst and it grew from there.  I was sent on so many talent development programmes and I soaked it all up.  I sometimes look at some of my old notes and realise that a lot of what I learned became part of who I developed into.

More importantly, I have had a lot of managers and people who demonstrated leadership to me.  I was inspired, impressed, envious, interested and driven.  

People who have met me, and don't know me, won't know that I am actually more introvert than extrovert.  What a revelation to learn that leadership does not require someone to be an extrovert.  

I have spent the last few years filtering through all the things I learned and bringing together only the things that really worked and that I still use to this day.
